A month after the Beirut explosion and as reconstruction accelerates in the devastated neighborhoods, EcoConsulting and its Circular Hub a free webinar dedicated to sustainable reconstruction. This webinar is tailored to equip reconstruction teams with better know-how to introduce sustainability in the afflicted areas, with practical, affordable and realistic eco-friendly measures. This will enhance the health and well-being of the occupants – which is beneficialin particular given the high pollution levels experienced in Beirut, reduce the environmental impacts of the buildings, and improve the community’s resilience through lower dependency on utilities, lower electricity and energy demand.
The webinar will tackle sustainable rubble and construction waste management, eco-friendly building materials, energy-efficiency, renewable energy, and heritage conservation. It will be followed by a 20-minute Q&A session at the end.
The webinar will be offered free of charge and is mostly suitable for those directly involved in reconstruction works. Registration is mandatory for attendance.
